In 2019, the creative in me had been screaming to be let out and play. I found a space and my partner and I transformed it into a cozy space to host art activities. I didn't want to just host sip and paint events, I wanted to share other methods of art and crafts. Unfortunately, due to the covid19 pandemic, I decided to close down the studio. There was so much unknown and I wasn't sure how long in person gathering would not be permitted.

I switched to sewing face masks, and in doing so, finally purchased a Cricut Machine! 

When it came time for my business license renewal, I renewed as a home based business focused on selling products that I made. This was not fully fulfilling, but I continued in that vein. I learned to do small crafts with my Cricut machine which was so much fun.

In 2023, I was invited to host t-shirt printing classes at a small private school in South Eleuthera. Helping the students create their designs and bring them to life on their t-shirts is always a fun learning experience for me. If there is something that they want that I have never done, I look into it and by the next session I am able to show them how.  We talk about where the kids in the session are from as we work and how their experience in Eleuthera is going. OFten times, their shirts are a reflection of what they want to remember most about their time here.

With the success of hosting these sessions at the school and having so much fun, I realized that finally, I am able to share my love of arts and crafts with others. Then it occurred to me, why not take my studio on the road?
